Our Organization

Baldwin SEPTA (Special Education Parent Teacher Association) provides advocacy, education and support for all exceptional children in the Baldwin Community and School District through parent education and support.

We cover services for all students in Baldwin: children and adults from Pre-Kindergarten to Rosemary Kennedy (Age 21).; private school, out of district placements, home schooled and of course in-district.

We subscribe to the premise that Special Education is any activity outside of the normal curriculum.  (See our Mission Statement)

Baldwin SEPTA was chartered in May of 2005 under the Nassau Region of the New York State PTA.
